Key Staff

Routes to Work South key staff are the staff who work directly with our clients. All these Advisors will work to support anyone in South Lanarkshire who is not working but wants help to get a job.

Our Advisors cover all South Lanarkshire and try to meet clients in local venues. All our services are free and confidential.

Provide an individual service for people not working and wanting to find a job. Whatever your circumstances – it may be you’ve not worked for a while, or are looking for your first job, or have recently left a job - our experienced Advisors can give you one–to-one advice on all aspects of finding a job or a route to work. They can also help with information on local learning and training opportunities.

These Advisors are more specialist and help people getting over a drug problem find a route into work or training. Progress 2 Work Advisors work with former and stabilised substance misusers on a one-to-one basis and progress them towards employment, training or education. They will also help sort out any issues, such as disclosure of offences, which may prevent a client getting work.

Work with local businesses to help them fill their vacancies with Routes to Work South clients. These jobs may never be advertised. Our Recruitment Advisors work closely with our other advisors to match the skills of our clients to the job vacancies they receive from employers.

Can help anyone with a disability,illness or health condition that limits their ability to work. We can arrange an informal and confidential health assessments. These are not medical examinations; they are a chat with an occupational therapist about how your health stops you working. The specialist may be able to recommend specific treatment to help you get into work.
