About Routes to Work South
Routes to Work South was created in May 2005 to offer an independent job access service to jobless people across all of South Lanarkshire. It was formed by the merger of Prospects for Employment and the Workplace Initiative.
We aim to work with some 1600 clients this year and help as many as 800 of them into work, training or further education.
Routes to Work South is key part of the Lanarkshire Routes to Inclusion strategy. This recognises that working makes people better off, feel better about themselves and improves their quality of life and health.
